DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BALI – UBUD, THE CULTURAL HEART

Meet-and-greet at Ngurah Rai International Airport. A welcome flower garland is provided, subject to the confirmed arrival arrangement. Your driver will assist with luggage. Private transfer to Ubud. The journey time may be longer during busy traffic periods. Check in at The Alena Resort Ubud, with a Private Pool Villa booked for 3 nights. Take time to settle in and relax after the flight. Walk around Ubud Palace and Ubud Art Market. Explore traditional Balinese architecture, local crafts, textiles, souvenirs and small art stalls. Market opening and stall availability may vary. Attend a traditional Legong dance performance. The elegant dance features detailed hand gestures, expressive eyes, elaborate costumes and gamelan music. Performance venue and start time to be reconfirmed. Return to the resort and enjoy a restful evening in Ubud.

DAY 2: UBUD HIGHLIGHTS – RICE TERRACES, HOLY SPRING & MONKEY FOREST

Depart the resort with your driver and guide for Tegalalang Rice Terrace. An early visit offers softer light and a cooler start to the day; sunrise timing varies by season. Explore the layered rice terraces and learn about Bali’s traditional subak irrigation system. A Bali Swing experience is planned, with time for photos at designated viewpoints. Swing access may have height, weight or safety restrictions. Continue to Tegenungan Waterfall. Enjoy the lush river valley and viewpoint; swimming is only permitted if local conditions and safety guidance allow. Steps can be steep and slippery. Continue to Tegenungan Waterfall. Explore the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, a protected forest sanctuary with ancient temples and pathways. Keep food and loose belongings secured and do not touch or feed the monkeys. Stop at a coffee plantation to learn about local coffee and spice production. A complimentary Luwak coffee tasting is listed in the proposed program; confirm availability and any optional tasting charges on site. Return to the resort for a one-hour spa treatment, listed as included in the proposed package. Treatment type and appointment time are subject to confirmation. DAY 3: FREE DAY IN UBUD – RELAX AT YOUR OWN PACE

Enjoy a slow breakfast and a relaxed start. You may arrange a yoga class in Ubud, subject to availability, or enjoy a floating breakfast photo experience in the private pool if offered by the resort. Optional Balinese cooking class: learn about local ingredients, spices and traditional cooking techniques. Advance reservation is recommended. DAY 4:UBUD TO SEKUMPUL WATERFALL – NORTH BALI

Check out from the Ubud resort and depart for North Bali. The drive to the Munduk area takes approximately 2 hours or more, depending on traffic and the exact waterfall access point. Visit Sekumpul Waterfall, a spectacular group of cascades surrounded by tropical greenery. Follow the local route with an authorised local guide. The walk includes a descent and ascent on uneven steps; allow additional time for photos and rest. Enjoy the waterfall scenery and, if conditions permit, a swim in a designated safe area. Follow all local instructions and avoid entering strong currents. Continue to Banyumala Twin Waterfall, known for its twin streams and forest setting. The approach involves a short but potentially slippery trek. Swimming is only recommended where permitted and safe. Lunch with a waterfall view is planned as included, subject to the confirmed restaurant arrangement and operating conditions. Drive to Munduk and check in at Munduk Moding Plantation Resort. Enjoy the jungle infinity pool and mountain or volcano views, weather permitting. A clove plantation walk may be arranged depending on daylight and resort availability. Relax in the cool mountain air. Temperatures can feel cooler after sunset, so a light jacket is recommended. Stay in Munduk.

DAY 5: MUNDUK – GITGIT, ULUN DANU BERATAN & TREKKING

After breakfast, visit Gitgit Waterfall. Enjoy the tropical forest setting and walk to the main viewing area along the established path. Conditions may be wet underfoot. Continue to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple in the Bedugul highlands. The temple complex sits beside Lake Beratan and is one of Bali’s most recognisable lakeside landmarks. Enjoy time for photos and a walk through the grounds. Stop at Handara Gate, a popular photo location framed by green highland scenery. Photo access may be subject to local fees, queues or operating rules. Lunch Lunch break before the trek; exact venue and inclusion to be confirmed. Join a guided Munduk countryside trek of approximately 2 hours, coffee and cacao-growing areas, village landscapes and, depending on the chosen route, smaller waterfalls. A local guide is included in the proposed program. Return to the resort and enjoy free time at the property. Stay in Munduk.

DAY 6: MUNDUK TO PEMUTERAN – WEST BALI

Check out after breakfast and begin the drive to Pemuteran, approximately 2 hours depending on the route and stops. Visit Brahmavihara-Arama, a peaceful Buddhist monastery near Banjar. Explore the gardens, meditation spaces and Buddhist-inspired architecture. A small replica inspired by Borobudur is often highlighted by visitors. Please dress modestly and maintain a quiet atmosphere. Continue to Pemuteran and check in at the selected resort: The Menjangan Resort Enjoy free time at the resort or visit Pemuteran Beach, known for its dark volcanic sand and views toward the sea. Relax by the shore and enjoy the sunset if weather permits. Unwind in the quiet northwest of Bali, a region generally more laid-back than the island’s busier southern resort areas. Back to Menjangan.

DAY 7: WEST BALI NATIONAL PARK – MENJANGAN ISLAND SNORKELLING

Meet the boat operator and depart for Menjangan Island. The boat journey is often around 30 minutes but varies with departure point and conditions. Complete the required check-in and safety briefing. The proposed program includes the applicable national park fee. Snorkel at two selected sites for approximately 2 hours in total, with breaks as directed by the guide. The reefs include coral gardens and underwater drop-offs. Marine life may include reef fish and, occasionally, turtles; sightings are not guaranteed. Lunch on the boat is planned as included, subject to the operator’s arrangement and sea conditions. Return to the Pemuteran area. If conditions and timing allow, visit the Pemuteran Underwater Temple Garden for a snorkelling session and learn about the local underwater installation. Access, visibility and current conditions vary. Visit or learn about the Biorock reef restoration project, which supports coral restoration and marine habitat awareness. The activity may be a shore visit or an explanation of the project, depending on local arrangements. (by own expense) Return to the resort and relax. Stay in Menjangan.

DAY 8: FREE DAY IN PEMUTERAN – BEACH & OPTIONAL ADVENTURES

Enjoy breakfast and a relaxed morning by the beach or pool. Depending on the beach and sea conditions, guests may enjoy a shore snorkel where it is safe and permitted. Arrange a second Menjangan Island snorkelling trip to explore different sites, subject to boat availability, weather and marine conditions. Join a guided West Bali National Park forest walk of around 2 hours to look for birds, deer and native vegetation. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed and park rules apply. Certified divers may arrange a dive trip with a licensed operator. Diving is not recommended without appropriate certification and a safety briefing. Alternatively, enjoy a spa treatment, read by the beach or relax at the resort. Enjoy a quiet evening in northwest Bali. Stay in Menjangan.

DAY 9: PEMUTERAN TO TULAMBEN – EAST BALI WRECK COAST

Optional dolphin-watching excursion from Lovina may be considered before the transfer. This requires a very early start and separate arrangements; it may not be practical to combine with the full drive to Tulamben. Confirm feasibility, pickup time and cost before booking. Check out and depart for Tulamben. The drive is estimated at around 2.5 hours or longer, depending on the route, traffic and any stops. If the dolphin excursion is chosen, the departure schedule must be adjusted. Arrive in Tulamben and check in at the selected property: Tulamben Wreck Divers Resort Relax and explore the beachfront area. Depending on arrival time, guests may arrange an introductory briefing with a local dive centre or enjoy a short shoreline visit. The USAT Liberty is a historic shipwreck lying offshore. Its accessible sections are popular with divers and snorkellers, but depth, currents and conditions vary by location. Any dive must be conducted with a qualified operator and appropriate certification. Prepare for the next day’s water activities and enjoy an early night if planning a morning dive. Stay in Tulamben.
