To enter the Nusa Penida area, you are required to purchase an e-levy ticket prior to your arrival.
The tourism levy for the Nusa Penida area (including Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan) is collected by the Klungkung Regency Government at a rate of IDR 25,000 for adults and IDR 15,000 for children. Payment must now be made via digital e-ticketing and e-payment systems; the levy is waived for holders of Balinese ID cards (KTP).
This measure aims to prevent long queues at Nusa Penida ports, which would otherwise cut into the time available for you to enjoy the island's beauty. The levy is charged only once. Tickets can be purchased online, or you can ask your fast boat operator or travel agent to assist in obtaining them. The ticket will be scanned upon arrival.
The regulations regarding this levy are as follows:
1. The Nusa Penida Tourism Area levy will be reinstated effective April 1, 2022.
2. The Nusa Penida Tourism Area levy applies to every tourist (international or domestic) at a rate of IDR 25,000 per person (adult) and IDR 15,000 per person (child), in accordance with Article 8 of Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2018 concerning Amendments to Regional Regulation Number 30 of 2013 regarding Levies for Recreation and Sports Facilities.
3. The Nusa Penida Tourism Area levy ticket is valid for one (1) day for the Nusa Penida Tourism Area (Nusa Gede, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan).
4. The levy ticket is paid for and checked at one of three collection posts (locations accessible via these links: s.id/pos1; s.id/pos2; s.id/pos3).
On the same day, once the levy ticket has been paid for at one post, tourists do not need to pay again at other posts; the ticket will simply be checked or verified. That is all. Thank you for your attention.
